Features
The upperwings are orange-red, with black veins and edges. There are small white spots on the edges, and large white patches on the apex of each forewing. The underwings are duller, with similar pattern as the upperwings. Male has a black sex brand on each hindwing.
Behaviour
Cluster and travel to overwinter.
