Features
Medium-sized libellulid. Males have a metallic blue green frons, the dorsum of the synthorax and the 1st to first half of the 6th abdominal segment covered in pruinose pale blue, two broad yellow stripes on each side of the synthorax, and amber-coloured wing bases. Females have yellow transverse stripes on the 1st and 3rd abdominal segments, yellow markings on the sides of the dorsum of the 4th to 7th abdominal segments, and two broad yellow stripes on each side of the synthorax.
