Adult has black upright crest, red post-ocular patch, white ear coverts, and red vent. Juvenile lacks red post-ocular patch, while the vent is paler red.
Behaviour
Usually gather as small parties foraging in groups of trees or shrubs. Mainly feeds on fruits.
