Features
The upperwings are dark brown with an eye marking on each forewing. The underwings are pale brown. The wet form features a pale yellow bar crosses the forewings and hindwings, with two eye markings posited on each forewing and seven eye markings on each hindwings. The dry form has blurred, small, or even disappeared eye markings. The apexes of hindwings are rounded. Male has sex brands on the forewings.
