Day & Night Ecological Workshop (Session 5)

In late spring and early summer, the island was brimming with life. Led by our instructors, participants explored the salt pans, mangroves, and shrublands to discover a variety of plant species. Many were most impressed by the Sterculia lanceolata, whose appearance changes dramatically throughout its growth cycle! The workshop combined talks with field visits, and participants also got a first experience of how Augmented Reality (AR) technology can be applied in ecological conservation. Many participants commented, "I never knew learning about plants could be so much fun!"
